The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The company point produced for intervention encounters a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to enable the servicing read more of all customers and maximize usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
